Because Luvli will be 2 years old next month we are teetering on the beginning stages of potty learning. So for most of the day, as long as we are pretty much staying home, she goes nakey. Bare bottom, Free as a bird. She will typically take her diaper off anyways but I still try to put one on her for a few hours out of the day just to catch any accidents. But there are still accidents... all I can say is thank goodness for hard wood floors and Lysol!!
Tonight after dinner we're all winding down before the kids are tucked into bed. Booh and Woobie are fixated on "Treehouse Masters" on Animal Plant... GLUED!! By the way, Papa, you will probably be getting a phone call from them tomorrow with their plans for there new tree house your building them... Just a heads up.. ;-). lol. Mushy Daddy is looking up blueprints for Minecraft.. yes he is a nerd. Mushy Mommy is folding one of many loads of laundry. And Luvli is sitting on the couch just as content as she can be playing with a few Mega Blocks. Together. Apart. Together. Apart. I am amazed. She is just sitting there. SO. CON. TENT. I feel like angel's have parted the clouds and I can finally see the light. Something so simple that we have had in the house for years since the boys where itty bitty but I never thought to see if she would like to play with them... did I say she was SOOO QUIET!! Well it is finally that to being our bedtime routine. I gather up the boys, take them to get their jammies on, get them tucked into bed, night night hugs and kisses. Then I move onto Luvli. Gather her diaper and jammies and go to sit on the couch beside her. She still playing with the blocks. Together. Apart. Together. Apart. I tell her its time.... what is that.... No.... it's not... Oh yes! It was!! Sweet child of mine... pooped on the couch while contently playing with her blocks. I carefully take the blocks away and go to pick her up... c.a.r.e.f.u.l.l.y.... as to not smear the mess. Next thing I know here comes that two-year- old tantrum. I took her blocks away and the entire world must pay. She kicks off my lap, flips backwards, lands on the couch, and SPLAT!! You guessed it... She flipped right into the poop. All in her hair.. all over her every where. Face-Palm...
After a good scrub in the shower, and a good scrub of the couch... Luvli was more than willing for bedtime. All is finally clean again, and mushy ushy gooshy monsters fast asleep.

Mushy Monster Family
After recent inspiration from a friend, I have decided to start a blog. So here it goes. I hope this will not only be an outlet to share my story but also an archive to document the day by day events of the mushy monsters. Mushy daddy thinks it's just an excuse to put off the daily grind of laundry and house chores.... He may actually be right but that is completely irrelevant. On to introductions!!!
I am a cloth diapering, baby wearing, semi co-sleeping, delayed vaccinating mother of three mushy ushy squishy little monsters... I am Mushy Mommy... Thanks to Mushy Daddy's hard work I have the privilege of being a stay at home mommy, which I am so grateful for. I enjoy cooking for my family, a hyper organizer, who absolutely detest folding laundry... hence the mound of clean clothing piled onto the desk on our bedroom. Enough about me...
The very first mushy monster is Booh. Booh is a highly energetic 7 year old little boy who loves everybody he meets and loves to be the center of attention... and he is pretty skilled at becoming the center of attention. Whether he is tap dancing across the stage during Kindergarten graduation.. which might I add resembled a lot like a backwoods Cotton Eye Joe jig.. or striking up a conversation in the middle of Wal-Mart with a elderly shopper... who he ask if he could call her his new grandma, she said she would be proud to have that title.
Second is Woobie. Woobie is probably the most laid back 5 year old little boy ever. But don't let that easy go with the flow demeanor deceive you. He is the most stubborn and hard-headed child I have ever met. He loves his siblings though and is the best cuddle bug... speaking of bugs.. that child would climb the wall to get away from a butterfly. Whoever refers to Girls are to dolls as Boys are to bugs never met Woobie..
Last but not least would be Luvli... Luvli is our youngest mushy monster at the age of 1 years old... almost 2. She is our only little girl... and she uses that to her advantage. Spoiled rotten would not being to describe Luvli. She knows what she wants and knows exactly how to get it. Her favorite word is "NO!" which at times means "yes". She loves her doll house but will play dinosaur's with her brothers all day long.
Okay, that is enough for now... I should probably go start folding the Mt. Everest size mound of clothes...
(Since this blog will be public on the WWW, I decided to let the kids make up their very own "Mushy Monster Names")
